Hello Glen,
Just a clarification. You can bolt them on, but you do need to use an
elementary fitting in doing so. Just take a 1" stainless round, drill a
hole in it, finish the end faces, and weld into the hull. The connector
needs that smooth face for it's O ring to seat on, it's not that you
drill a hole directly in the hull and plug the hole with the connector.
