It would be recommended to stay away from the copper-colored
anti-seize compounds as Vance notes as accelerated galvanic corrosion will
occur between dissimilar metals. That is why we used molybdenum-based compounds
and still use them here on the waterfront with great success. After 5-years of
a liberal application, SS bolts and nuts separate without any galling. R/Jay Respectfully, Jay K. Jeffries Andros Is., Bahamas As scarce as the truth is, the supply has always been in excess of

replace" while lurking outside Murmansk or somewhere, right? Now you don't
have just a job, you have an adventure. And don't drop a wrench, right? Sharp
noises are frowned upon under those circumstances. Brent, They will more likely gall. Nuke fittings are all SS and
we heavily coated all threads with molybdenum Never-Seize and we would still
have difficulties with galling at times. It was a bitch when a valve cap
galled (most likely component for it to happen to) as the whole valve would
have to be cut out and replaced…a nasty over-haul! R/Jay R/Jay Respectfully, Jay K. Jeffries Andros Is., Bahamas As scarce as the truth is, the supply has always been in excess of
