Steve,The official line is that when it comes to transportation everyone is on their own. As Jay mentioned however, we always manage to get people where they need to go. With a Van and Jay's car, we're already looking at 11 seats available. I suspect that since the majority of attendees are going to be flying in, they are either planning on renting their own vehicle or are welcome to help us with the cost of the van.
With car pooling however, we're going to need to be cognizant of time and being prompt. If we have an event planned at 10am, then everyone will need to be at the vehicles on time or they may very well be left at the pier. We won't be able to hold everyone up, so exchanging cell-phone numbers will be critical so we can call and say "Where the hell are you???" if someone doesn't show up on time. (hopefully it won't be me) Some people do enjoy having their own vehicle so that they can be more independent, so I'm guessing we're going to end up with plenty of cars for transportation.
I wonder if JimK is going to ride his motorcycle again this year? I'm guessing, no. :)

Jon, I am OK with this selection. Do we think we will have some kind of group transportation to away activities (Nuytten's place)? I'd hate to think we would leave anyone at the pier.....
