Jorge, I realize the temptation is there, as is the need for a "free
book".  But I think it shows the individual's personal quality if they'd
rather "heist" a book instead of legally purchase it.  I'd rather go
without than to take what is not rightfully mine.  That is what the
copyright laws protect.  

But don't let that get in your way.  There could be a way around it. 
Try contacting the author and see if he/she would consent to our group
having free copies.  And who knows, they may provide them themselves off
of their computer.  How many authors don't keep a e-copy of their book? 
Some, yeah.  And some do.

It is the honorable thing to ask.
