[PSUBS-MAILIST] OT: Copyrights

What if someone in a country not subjected to the copyrights laws of the book's country of origin
copies it and make it available to a bunch of bosom friends ? Would it be an infringement ?

I realize that it may even be morally objectionable but I can hardly believe it would be illegal.

I'm aware that we are diving in murky waters but seriously folks, what do you think ?

Lawyers, to circumvent the legal stumbling blocks, are given an obscene amount of that green stuff
you guys seem to be always running after ;^))

As far as I know, my country has never signed an agreement on copyright enforcement under the US
regulations. I may be wrong though...
