There's another facet of Bill Gifford's sub and website that I would
like to bring up as a topic or for a future discussion. The space
around his sub...his workshop! That's quite a setup he has.

How many square feet would anyone guess the space is?

What would anyone advise a beginner to start a "basic" workshop
geared specifically towards building a pSub? I'm not talking about
the common tools most "weekend mechanics" have in their garage,
though these would count in the inventory.

Some of you veteran builders ; what tools did you end up buying
initially that you didn't have at the start. What tools did you add on
along the way during the building process?

Were there tools you had to fashion or modify on your own, because
there wasn't anything off-the-shelf that would do a specific task?

What techniques did you develop that would not be found in how-to-books
or in a general class?

How many times did you bang your knuckles and curse out loud? : ))
