I'm not a communist or anything, but I think we SHOULD have free power, water, and communications in this country. Just like free health care. I think our system of economics has gone a little too far in its "capitalize-on-everything" ways. If there was a way to restrict the very air we breathe and make the citizenry pay for it, they would do exactly that! You wouldn't believe how many people in the U.S. are living week to week simply because of the water bill and the price of food! My main beef is the price of electricity. All I really want is a cheap endless source of power, like a PEM electric generator that ran on water. Then I could do anything! I could weld in the garage to my heart's content, I could have all-electric appliances without worrying about the outrageous bill at the end of the month! I could charge my electric car up every night. I could experiement with various power systems for my "toys". Free power is all I want. Heck, just give me one of those portable Mr. Fusion units from the movie "Back to the Future"! Do you see the quandry now? If everyone had their own power, and lots of it, the government would lose a huge chunk of its revenue and its hold on the average citizen would loosen greatly. That's why it wants people to believe that things like hydrogen power is just a nice "toy". I'll step down off the soapbox now. How's everyone else doing on their subs?
