This is what I did:  since I could care less about the numbers, per se, all I did was review what
other subs were outfitted with (try Frank Busby's tome) and extrapolated.  If the cross sectional area
was similar, the volume was similar, the hull shape was similar, I then assumed, for better or worse,
that what I needed was fairly close to what they were using.
