Albert! - You're a hero!  I've been dying to find out about compensating trolling motors.  You and
your friend just saved a whole lot of man(woman?)-hours of this group's time!

Only one concern: how much does pressure at depth increase the rotational resistance of the motor
shaft?  Significantly?  That could be a little tough on battery power.
