Hi Tommaso,

Welcome aboard. Don't be afraid of being Italian. Your country men
are famous as small submersible pilots. The Maiale was little more
than a torpedo that two men rode on. Yet they showed much courage and
daring with their feats of bravery while using this tool to sneak into
enemy harbors and destroying capital ships.

Due to their success at the end of WWI the navies of the world developed
midget submarines for WWII. We owe a lot to the devlopement of the midget
submarines.
