SubCommittee is a group that already handles hobbiest RC submarines.
They do it very well, so I see no point in duplicating their work.

However the lines between a SubCommittee submarine and one of ours may blur a
bit.

We can go beyond what SubCommittee does. Most of their subs are
to scale, shallow depth and fresh water based. We don't need to make our
submersibles scale models of anything. The shallow depth doesn't tax
the hull much. The fresh water is needed since the radio wave penetrate
fresh water much better than salt water. Also some RC submarines flood water
inside the hull, fresh water is ok, salt water would start corroding
things.

We can certainly use some of their techniques but our scope is not to
build scale model, hobbiest, fresh water only submarines.

Certainly more serious.

Think of "R/C" as Remote Controlled and not Radio Controlled and we could
indeed talk about them. I always though it would be nice if my first couple
of deep dives could be done remotely so my life isn't seal inside a new,
untested hull at depth. Paranoia I guess.

Just how to word it in the scope though is the question we need to settle
on.
