It looks worse in the photo. I was able to clean it up quite a bit, but it is worn a bit. I'll try to get some close up photos and post them. Unfortunately, that's a common problem for ceramic rotating seals. Sea water stays in the outer O-ring face and works away in what becomes the classic low oxygen trap. You might need some repair work there before reassembly. |
