There have got to be simple digital pressure gages available. Think of things
like a hydraulic pressure sensor that has a digital display on a machine. These
thing have got to be quite common, no?

Then you could get two digital sensors (one for backup), and then attach them
to a sea pressure pipe inside the pressure hull. Then you can get a regular
pressure gage that measures in PSI and then take the scale out and write your
own scale in feet on it and put it back in. You would have the 3rd pressure
gage as a backup in case the other two mismatch.
