RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] NACA 65-020 High Aspect Ratio Fin Development

Hugh,
A monofoil sail powered car made 126.1 mph on land recently and a
kiteboarder did 50.26 kts. Off of Namibia late 2008. There is supposed a
monofoil boat supposed to make an attempt but have not seen anything on it
recently.

I believe the world speed record for sailing is now just above 50 knots.

Not a sub, but as we are talking foils etc.

The International Moth sailing dinghy is a hydrofoil. It's a very small
boat (~3m), and the world record speed is ~30 Knots...

Again, not a sub but kinda cool.

Jay,

What software are you using? I'd be interested in a review/comparison of
any NA design software youve used.
