RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] 2 Man Sub From Boston?

I hate to think there might be psubers bidding against each other but I guess that’s the process.  Wasn’t there discussion of a club project at one time?  Could this be a shallow water psub training vessel?  If we all pitched in $200 ; )

Frank,

You are correct as I was going from memory of it sitting on the floor in the warehouse.  Review of the eBay images confirm your estimation.

Hi Jay. 8 to 10 feet sounds large. Just by looking at the picture on ebay and how it fits the trailer, it looks more like 6 to 7 feet diameter. ( mine is 7 feet.)  A trailer can't be more than 8 feet without a special permit and restricted hours of operation on roads. the tank heads/pressure hull are inside the tire edges, so unless it's a big/wide trailer it must be a max of 8 feet. Still, it's pretty interesting and I hope a psubber gets it. Anybody really, besides a sandwich shop. Frank D.
