If those tanks do indeed stand the sort of pressure you say, then they might be ok.  I certainly like the fact that they are rust proof.  I'll have another think about them.

A stainless VBT would cost a fortune.  :(  But i might check that out as well.  I do think i need to sort something out different to the plans.  I just dont think i'll be able to get the inside of the normal tank protected enough from corrosion.

Hi Alec. Yes, the "lite" tanks have a maximum pressure, and I believe its
common around 250 psi for propane. Remember that LPG is also very cold when
allowed to expand,( gasify)  and as such these tanks have a pretty  high safety
factor built in. It should be possible to get some hard  data on these
products. I'll see what I can find, but again, for my application,  they work well.
