Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] New Submarine Project... Need Input.

Bryce sounds like a great project.
I am only building a small highly modified k350 and am only about half done.
So I am the furthest from knowing any answers.
But in my experience so far, I don't see how you will get that kind of
range with a 25' size. It seems to me that you will need a larger vessel to
acomplish an extended open water voyage.

Mine is 20' length, the pressure vessel is 3' diameter with a 4' diameter outer
shell. I have built in extended down time and long legs with 24 85 amp deep cycle
lead acid batteries. My need is to explore the vastness of lake Superior so my
concern is speed. In my attempt to achieve this my 20' is really used up.
My interior will actually be quite roomy for one, really tight for two and dive
duration will probably not exceed 4 hrs.

I am curious what type of chemical emergency blow system are you thinking of?
I once pondered such a system but know nothing of chemicals. I am the type
that owns 6 sizes of hammers.

HEY EVERYONE! I have not been on here in quite some time but now that the summer
is here I am ready to embark on my project. I have figured mostly everything out
by going through the forums and such and have produced this list of
requirements. Have a look and let me know what you think.
