Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] carbon fibre

Hi Myles.

Now you know "doesn't know squat" enlisted newbies don't get flashy shoulder boards. Only officers do.

We get the pin on collar tabs with whale poop on an anchor.

Wetsub Bill. (Don't listen to anything I tell you).

Bill,

I'm in the "doesn't know squat" rank.  What do my shoulder flashes look like ?

You're certainly entitled to your opinion Brian and I won't argue with you.

I just hope listing accomplishments by ones name wouldn't create an elitist pecking order and discourage people from posting because

they did not feel worthy enough to warrant posting with the big boys. We might as well assign officer and enlisted ranks to the members,

or put "Doesn't know squat" by some names. Amounts to the same thing.

My opinion entitlement. Lol. No offense.

Bill.

More disscusion does not equal more knowledge gained.

I think that maybe as people post on this message board that it could be helpful if those involved could have some credentials listed by their name; like "have working sub"  or "designed and build 1 atm sub"  or "designed and built ambient sub".  Most on in this group kind of know whos who so it's not a big deal, especially if you've been to one of the conventions.
