Disregard my last post,I may have typed too soon.

You are trying to draw a high vacuum with low volume
pump; set it up and wait quite a while, until it draws
a high column of vacuum.

What is a realistic column of vacumm that you could
draw?

Yes, thats a pity; youcan only test it to a virtual 10
meter.

However....... It is avery good leak test.
