And click on speakers, you will have access to all the material of the 2003 convention. I made a presentation about BIG.

I see this group has already introduced fresh ideas that I had not
considered.

Shawn - Thank you for the comprehensive responce. I will take a close
look at the fiberglass hull option. Should a fibreglass hull be built
around a frame? What is FRP?

Pierre Poulin - I notice that the PSubs FAQ recommends working with
steel. I need to do more research b4 choosing a build material. I have no
idea how to weld, but learning is part of the fun. Look forward to some
interesting conversations. May I see your design & specs?

Gail - Thank you for the references, I shall follow up Pat's book.

Fly deep - Interesting advice on a shark cage. I have seen similar
machines being used in the local waters. However I'm more interested in
building a submarine over a scuba scooter, just for the fun of it. 8-}

Peter - I would love to include the trailer as part of the sub and have
already considered this. I was considering using the trailer as part of
the boats structure. The wheels simply removed when launched, then
re-attached for transport. If the trailer was built into the boat then
drag issues would be minimised. Has anyone else done this?

Thijs Struijs and David Cutajar - appreciate your supportive comments.
