	Another issue with kiln lime is how you package and preserve it.
Remember, we live in a reactive (sometimes wet) oxygenated atmosphere.
Cartridges for scrubbers are often sealed for freshness, and carry a
visual aid to determine if their capacity as an absorbent has been used up
in storage. This is the tell-tale blue flecks you might see in
manufactured cartridges.
	I thought this particular question might also be related to the
concrete sub thread earlier last month. In that case, the physical
properties of the resultant cement are the root of the inquiry, not
scrubbers. Damned useful things, those various oxides of calcium.
