Sgt.Peppers is complete hardwired. No computer.
Euronaut will be complete hardwired - with a 3 computer
network on top of the hardwired systems.
Computer will be used to display the outside videocameras (and tape it
to DVD), for electronic seamap naviagtion, show the forward sonar
display (and tape it on CD-Rom ) for enginecontrol backup, for
dive and range calculation and special for control calculation
of the diverchamber. But the computers itself get no direct-control
to nothing. Shows just the calculation results - the crew has to turn
the switches.
Its the old way.. with a overhead.
