Where are you?

This discussion has jogged my memory. I forgot
I bought an old Popular Science [could be Mechanics
Illustrated] years ago at a second hand book shop.
There are plans for a human-powered shallow
submersible. Basically, it's a canopy mounted on
a bicycle for two. I believe it was issued in late 50's
or early 60's. I could scan it and offer it to the pSub
group, but I do not want to violate any copyrights.
What are the time limits on copy rights?
It's in storage so it would take a while to sift thru
stacks of boxes to locate it.
