Markham did his work in Florida ... exactly where
you want to go.

This question arises from time to time.  Usually I'm
the one who asks, because I'm quite likely to be 
alone.

Well, that would work, if you could arrange for a
steep ramp every time.  Most of the ramps around
here are pretty flat.

I think some kind of floats might be the answer.
Well, pontoons on either side of the sub.  Roll
the thing down into the water, and pull it into
deeper water, and then let it drop between the
floats.  The floats could be simple things:
slab-sided, plumb bow and stern, and linked by
bars over the top.  Add a small outboard and
you have a very basic tender.
