Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Re: Telling Terrorist stories around the national campfire

Hi Mike,

I think we've got it covered. Our #1 consultant is Ed Cargile, He's the
president of the Deep Submergence Pilots Association, Chairman of
the Marine Technology Society, a true ocean pioneer and retired SEAL
who is currently one of the top counter terrorist advisors to the Navy.
Our #2 consultant is Don Walsh, who holds the record with Picard
for the deepest dive, Don is also up to his eyebrows right now working
with the Navy guys.

Back in '93, a few weeks after my patent was issued, I had 3 wise men
from the House Committee on Appropriations Investigations Staff come
to visit us at the farm. We gave them some hot chocolate and cookies then
took them out to the barn, chased the chickens off the prototype and showed
them everything they wanted to see.
I'm still in contact with one of them who is now with the NSA.
I tried to get a copy of the report they did but was told it's classified.

I've given up trying to deal with those yahoos in Broward county, they
still consider it to be a matter for the civil courts, I'll just let the feds handle
it from here on.

For anyone who has DSL or better there is a 113,218 Kb Quicktime

To all my fellow AquaNuts, I pray you never have to wade through
so much muck just to have a little fun.

I have heard it said that if it's really fun, it's either fattening or illegal.

Doc, from what you've told us about this you are unquestionably guilty
of being a victim.  When I hit the lottery, I want a Bionic Dolphin.

On the other hand, if a BD can cart a person and a hundred pounds of
extra stuff, what has been created is one hell of an interesting
weapon.  I daresay it would work the first couple of times it was
tried. No one on guard duty would be able to interpret properly the
data being provided.  The engine sounds would be loud but not in
the "right" place(s) and the whole idea of a high-speed thing that
was evidenced merely by a wave ... that would not be expected.

Have you sent vidoes of the BD to the FBI and the other departments
that might face the thing?

This part of the story has alwasy interested me.  What was their
reason for hesitating?  Did they ever explain to the FBI?

What's this?  Do you have to tell them when you test?  I wonder if
they'll want to hear about other psubs, too.  I'd be willing to
have a Federal officer in attendance at diving operations.
