Hi Jon, why it is so expensive to fly away from Boston ?  

I ask just WWW.ticketman.de and get the following prices: 

- Bremen, Germany to Vancouver, Canada  = 346 Dollar (both ways)
- Bremen, Germany to Boston, USA	= 279 Dollar (both way)

and I remember that my fly to Miami, Florida from Amsterdam, Netherland
at April this year was in the same figure as for Vancouver (include a
rent Toyota Corolla..). 

Say additional 200 -400 Dollar for a motel and food is all together
about 600 - 800 Dollar - from europe. 

I will come - if I get holiday, and there are more than 3-4 subs 
on the convention. Hope there will be some russian or china Psub. 
Its much fun to dive in single seater subs with manuals and all 
vales labeled in unknown languages.
