I think a PSub convention could be a very cool media event.  Have you guys considered the media attention such a fest would generate?  I don't have a sub, nor have I started building one, so I feel kind of funny suggesting ways to run this event.  But here are some of my thoughts on the subject.

Sending a fleet of psubs out would be ultra cool.  I'd love to swim alongside as a sort of safety diver.  What about having a photojournalist (CNN?) in one of the psubs?  What about auctioning this position off to the media to cover costs of the event?

If the media covers it you could expect a lot of traffic on the website.  Especially if it is mentioned on the air.  Maybe there is some way PSUBs could profit by this?  Could PSUBs sell Kittridge plans online for a commision?  Maybe a discount price for the plans could be worked out for a 2 week period, during and after the event?
