The Hall of Fame Award is dedicated to those
individuals who have significantly contributed to the advancement of
submersible design, construction, or operation. This is the
highest honor that PSUBS bestows and the hardest to earn.
Recipients are usually known worldwide for their contributions and
have demonstrable skills that typically span beyond recreational
submersibles.
Commemoration Awards
are presented annually and
memorialize the contributions of submersible pioneers
such as George Kittredge, Frank Busby, Edwin Link, and Edward Beach.
In December of each year, subscribers to the PSUBS mailing list are
asked to nominate peers who have demonstrated a skill or activity
in one or more of these categories.
Winners are announced each January.
Special Recognition Awards
can be awarded at any time and recognize those who have uniquely
contributed to PSUBS.ORG or personal submersibles in general.
It is our way of saying "Thank You!"
for a noteworthy reason that does not fit within the more narrow
scope of the Commemorative Awards.
