Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Getting Started

Had a look at the Wiki. Not much there.

How does one suggest new categories, add new entries?

The beauty of a wiki is you're not working to a publishing deadline, and are not constrained to fit everything in a certain number of 32-page signatures. You build whenever material is available, and keep adding as long as new material shows up.

I would start by adding a section on stability, with a rundown on stability conditions submerged and on the surface (and maybe crawling on the bottom). Something like what I wrote here:

Best,

There is also a web based forum on the site that isn't fully utilized! It
already does sort of function as a place for newbies... there is a meet and
greet section etc... as for a wiki.... there are lots of engineering skills
needed to build a sub... where does the wiki start and where does the wiki
stop? :) to build a sub.. you need a firm grasp of physics, mathematics,
hydro/fluid dynamics, materials scientist, electrical technician/engineer,
mechanical engineering (seals etc), as well as the health and safety
aspects...

That's a pretty big wiki/FAQ :)
