RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] K250 on eBay.
I rebuilt the k-250 for the Undersea Voyager Project (starting with a bare
hull) and I believe that the cheapest it can be done correctly is in line
with Alec's estimate if you use "the good stuff".

I concour with Alec's refit cost estimate and scope of work necessary to
bring this sub back to diving condition. $ 8K plus $13.5K asking price +
10% to 20% fudge factor , thats alot of money for a K250, even with a
pedigree. I would offer him $5K for it as is ! Remember its a labor of love
not an investment.
