In listing the various crafts for both surface and submerged speeds, how long must these speeds be maintained in order to be considered sustainable? If a given sub is said to have a surfaced sustainable speed of 5 knots and a submerged sustainable speed of 3 knots, how long or to what measurable distance must this speed be maintained to be considered a factual statement?
