RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Convention

Jon and all:

I will be taking the toll road South from Orlando in my trek towards the convention and see passing this area late on the 13th or early on the 14th. I will be in a Dodge Grand Caravan and should have plenty of room for I would say two people and or for use as a bulk luggage carrier as both back seats will have been left at home. By taking on luggage and perhaps a single passenger, I could free up car space for someone else.
The only issue I see is with timing this. It is a long way to Tennessee and travel time is hard to estimate as to arrival. Cell phones help here.

I'll be renting a car and already have one passenger who will be with me.  I also expect to have two, if not three pieces of luggage and so combined with my passengers luggage I expect that the trunk and back seat will be utilized to carry them.  Usually the cars we get these days are rather small and so luggage to/from airports become an issue.  So I can't say that I can't give someone else a ride, but I can't guarantee it either.

I can look into limo services if you like. I could also make the run to PBIA if everyone is getting in at some similar time. Probably stuff four guys into the Explorer and if need be, could bring a second car and driver for more. Then some of the group would only need a local car. In fact, there would be no problem for Jon or someone to use one of my cars (the Explorer, I suppose, would make the most sense). I can arrange other transport for myself during the conference without problem and that would save some bucks for a few who might be on a tight budget.
