[PSUBS-MAILIST] organization and membership status

Jon

I wonder if ABS - who did not answer you back the second time you
contacted them regarding a 'lite-version of their certificate for psubs' -
could have become a bit skeptical to the said organization you claimed to
be representing.

Maybe I'm a bit confused here, but isn't PSUBS LLC a sort of private
business company, owned by you?

Furthermore, should this be the case, then there is a good chance ABS did
some homework during that second round, and decided not to follow up your
request any further (i.e. they may have considered you a private business,
and thereby not being an elected representative for any organization that
they could recognize).

And finally, being a registered member in the psubs organization, how come
I have a feeling that my proposal regarding "RECOMMENDED Design and
Building Practices" has simply been ignored?

[ posted in the "submarine kit-builder's society rules" thread, dated June
7, 2010 ]

Please note that I have no problems in being overlooked should any of my
ordinary postings on the mailing list turn out to be of no interest for
anyone, but myself.

However, I do find it alarming, as a member of this organization, that my
proposal appears to be overlooked.

This is not yet another sulk from me, but a real concern regarding the
'destiny' of input given by any member not being able to attend the
upcoming psubs convention, where further discussions regarding the very
same topic is now going to be held (and decided upon?).

Best regards,
Jens Laland
