displacement so by calculating the volume of your hull, whatever shape or size,
that will be pretty close to your final weight.
Take a look at any propane tank, say a common size like 250 gallons, figure
it's displacement in gallons or cubic feet, and the total weight will be easy to
guess at without a lot of complicated math. Just a good rule-of-thumb when first
trying to determine what size you're aiming for.
