Correct, which is why flushing the cabin would only start you with a
relatively dry atmosphere and not keep it that way. However, assuming
the method was somewhat effective it would delay the effects of
condensation possibly quite well if performed with the sub in the
water. You are introducing dry air to the cabin as well as keeping that
air relatively cool due to the thermal effects of the water. It's a
good combination to start out with if it worked, especially for short
dives in humid climates.
