Interesting stuff Jens,
I see you have had an interest in robotics.
I breifly looked at this, as I was trying to interface a sony playstation
controller with my pulse width modulator motor controller kit & other 
components.
There are a number of kits you can buy for this purpose. Amazing whats out 
there.
Have you looked into robotic arms for submarines?
Also you have in your site what seems to be a breif description of 
mathematics in history.
(in Norwegian) I spent some time with a mathatician, " Sir Vaughan Jones" in 
the
weekend.
