You might want to take a look at the battery cases offered by Deep Sea Power & Light. They are oil compensated, rated for full ocean depth, come with connectors and are ABS certified. You can order a set and have them on your sub next week. Ask for Kevin Hardy.

My thought was to try and sandblast the inside lower half of the pod for good adhesion then lay up resin with matt in it as the resin by itself would crack. I would then back that up by having my batteries in ss drip trays. I think I have both at my shop and will do a test on each and report the results when finished.
