Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] RFC - Standard Thru-Hull Electrical Connector

Hi Frank.

I already had threaded thru-hull couplings welded in place, So I plan on machining an adapter from Pipe thread to the appropriate size for the connector. The High Power items are good for 50 amps per contact when in water so the should handle the 46 amp max draw of the 101's easily. As you know I only need two conductors for this, but I was not able to find a 2 conductor that could handle the amperage. I'll have a spare pair in the event I smoke one pair.

Best Regards,

Jim,

I recommend you hold off for a bit since I'm working with Subconn on
pricing.  Holiday shutdowns delayed things but they should be back this
week.  Contact me off-list with the components you want to purchase and
I'll talk to them this week.

Hi Jon/Jim
Keep me in the loop on this as I'm pretty much at the same spot. Ready to get some of those parts and cut in my thru-hulls.
Jim, the high power connectors for your thrusters, which ones are they and what size/type of thru-hull you cuttin' in ?
