To all: I have someone who has reqested I build the next console (#8). This has me thinking...I have several simple rules I work by that to me make sense. (1) I work on one console at a time until that unit is finished. (2) Should a unit be reported non functional in the field, it has priority in the way of time and resorces until operational. I can and sometimes do order construction materials for future builds early as combining orders reduce costs. Ordering two part molding plastic in larger quantities for example saves us money. I would like to build as many single tranducer broadband communications consoles as I safely can prior to the next convention. (I think 4 to 8 would be a good workload) If you wish one for your submarine, get with me and I will combine supply costs. I work with $245.00 and send an itemized list of parts obtained and send any unused funds in a follow up letter following the shipping of the unit.
