Thank you both, and everyone else who has thanked us as well. We appreciate your kind words and it was our pleasure. It takes a lot of people to make something like Vancouver a success. Phil Nuytten and the Newtoids at Nuytco Research who we can never repay for their generosity and hard work, people like Guy Mathias at Vancover Maritime Museum who give us special access to exhibits, speakers who spend valuable time putting presentations together for us, members who help us financially, local members who get us around and find us good places to eat, and of course the attendees who choose to spend good money and precious vacation time with our group. So there's a lot of people to thank for making the convention a success and although Ray and I play a part, it's probably not the biggest part in the whole weekend. But again, thank you for recognizing our work and let's look forward to many more in the future.

For Jon and Ray:I want to second Vance's very perceptive 'thank you' for the 2009 Vancouver convention - Without your hard work, persistence, and nagging - (Com'on, Phil, you promised, now put your subs where your mouth is . . . ) it could have been quite different. The Newtoids busted ass for you guys cuz they recognized a shared passion, but it was your efforts that made it happen - and I totally recognize that (as the kids say). Is that cool, or what?" I DID see that, and it was definitely cool. Thanks Jon and Ray for all your effort. It wouldn't have been possible without you. We had our very own submarine rock star for a little while in the form of Dr. Phil and the kids at Nuytco, but stars only shine at night unless the Director is doing his job. You guys were doing that and then some. Thanks a million. Vance
