I didn't realize before today that the some or all of the SEAmagines have external controls just behind the acrylic pressure hull for a SCUBA diver pilot. I can see it having some uses for rescue. But I'm not sure how useful it is over all. I'd much rather pilot a sub inside, nice and dry. Not to mention the sea monsters. ;} I do have plans forming to be able to operate my sub unmanned as a ROV to greater depths then I would want to go manned. |
