Good news can you possibly let me know the  model you bought and the horses 
as minn kota's site does not give this info I am looking forward to seeing 
what you come up with I have put my thruster thru hulls on hold .Today my 
steel for my pods arrived so tomorrow I will start on them.

I was going to buy just the motor pods themselves, but i know the guy in the 
shop and he did me such a good deal, i ended up with 2 complete salt water 
motors at more or less the price for the pods alone!

I'm going to get stuck in with voiding the warranty this weekend.....
