Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Urethane Coatings on Steel Ballest & Drop Weights

Just a note of caution regarding the urethane coatings (Rhino lining) - the online documentation for the Rhino truck bed liner indicates that it is not suitable for submerged service. In addition to the readily available truck bed liner, Rhino offers a series of industrial coatings which are similar, but have a greater surface hardness and presumaby better tolerance to submergence.  I'm not sure how to source these products, but in any case it's probably worth a phone call to the product manufacturer to see if the urethane product you are considering is suitable to your application.
