RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Submarine on land- Google Earth





Carsten,  They used to post the date the image was taken at the bottom of the image. But for some reason I've noticed they don't seem to be doing that any more. In rural areas they don't update near as often as areas they see people are most often looking at.  

I'm back home with dial-up internet, so I don't get to play on Google Earth for the time being.  I wish there was a way to download all the images that compose Google Earth, so you could look at if off line as well as not have to wait for the server to stream the data to you.
