[PSUBS-MAILIST] Possible support boat hull in Washington:

From:  A & B Stalp <stalp@toledotel.com>

Several years ago, I started building my own sternwheeler.  The hull was designed by a gentleman I met on the internet that had an interest in them, and was an engineer.  He helped me out with the design of the hull.

I built the hull and got very little further.  I have had the hull in the water, using an outboard motor, for special events, however it is basically still a bare hull

The hull is 18’ 8” long, beam of 98”, and draft of 24 inch.  It is made out of 1/8 inch aluminum, and assembled using aircraft rivets and welding.

The original plans were for an enclosed house, and the propulsion was to be a stern wheel.  There is a well where an outboard motor can be dropped in for emergency propulsion, and extra speed if needed.

Due to changes in my life, I don’t see how I will be finishing it.  With a heavy heart, I have decided to let it go.

I am located in SW Washington, approximately one hour north of Portland, OR.

If you have any interest in this hull, please contact me for add ional information.
