RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Problems with initial

Ok. I am a idiot, I found the mesurments, they were just so tiny I had to really magnify it so I could read it. I am getting ready to order the metal and wanted to check with everyone to make sure it is correct. I am building a K-600 so I re-ran the metal sizes. This is what I came up with:

Part Thickness Length Width Type Quantity
Hull Tube 3/8 72” 36” O.D. ASTM 516 GR70 1
End Cap ½ Elliptical 36” O.D. ASTM 516 GR70 2
Conning Tower (Collar) 7/8 9” 24.5” O.D. ASTM 516 GR70 1
Conning Tower (Main) ¾ 13” 24” O.D. ASTM 516 GR70 1
Hatch ½ Dished 23” O.D. ASTM 516 GR70 1

Conning Tower Ring 1.5” ¾ 25” O.D. ASTM 516 GR70 1
Hatch Ring 1.5” ¾ 25” O.D. SS 316 L 1

Ribs “T” 3/8 1.5” x 1.5” “T” (Set so O.D will fit inside Hull I.D.) 7

Battery Pod X-heavy 33” 12” O.D. LG STD WT A53 PIPE 2
Battery Pod (Attach) X-heavy 12” 12” O.D. LG STD WT A53 PIPE 2
Battery Pod Cap X-heavy Elliptical 12” O.D. LG STD WT A53 PIPE Cap 4
VBT Tube X-heavy 14” 10” O.D. LG STD WT A53 PIPE 1
VBT Cap X-heavy Elliptical 10” O.D. LG STD WT A53 PIPE Cap 2

Does anyone see any problems with this?
Thanks,
Scott Waters

Viewports, through hulls, motor pods etc. Maybe battery pods next, and then order the actual hull at the end. They you almost have a kit to just weld all your completed bits to. My hull has been sat on its trailor getting rusty while ive been mucking about machining small things i could have done before the hull arrived. Just my advice.

I am going to order the main vessle and ribs, two battery pods, conning tower and hatch, and VBT. I can't seem to get the plans to scale because they have been saved in PDF and were compacted before they were saved and they have no measurement scale except 1/4" equals 1' which doesn't help if the files have been compacted. HELP?
