I think ive got it sussed now and my pipe coming at 9.27mm seems about right.

Hi James,
               "standard weight" refers to "Schedule 40 pipe" I hope this
can be of help. Just check a steel catalog in the  tubing and pipe section
you will see what I'm talking about.
