Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Standard Weight
Hi Simon,
Thanks for having a look for me.
I just asked one of the places im getting a quote from and the guy told me these thicknesses.
10" OD = 9.27mm
12" OD = 10.31
14" OD = 11.13
It must be some standard ratio to the OD. ?
Anyway, 12" is coming in 10mm thickness. Should be ok.
Regards
James

Subject: Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Standard Weight
Hello Jim
I asked the mechanical engineers in my office your question and after a
search through the standards kicked up the withdrawn BS 3601 as the standard
our guys quote and the replacement BSEN 10216 and 10217 which I can't find
any dimensions in, I got the suggestion that trying the ASHRAE site might be
worth a try.
I'm sure somebody on the Forum will have the answer but I'll look in our
library and see if we have a copy of the withdrawn standard in case they
don't.
Cheers Simon
