Nice little sub. Most likely another death trap, and better to be used as a
sandwich shop sign. I think even used as an ambient sub or wet sub would be
risky. You gotta be able to get out of it very quickly to have any hope of
survival. I think the best sub designs are the ones shaped like sleds where you
sit ON them rather than IN them. ( OK, not really subs ) That way you can
just let go and swim for it. The 1 ATM subs we are building have some risk, but
as long as we don't go in water any deeper than we can swim, we have a chance (
although pretty slim ) of surviving a mishap. I remember when we first tried the
"excrutiator" and although it wasn't all that useful, it's a start to something
that has a lot of promise. For those of us who actually plan on going down in a
sub, scuba certification is the obvious first step, and then using the escape
module to practice will be very useful.
