RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Seehunde find

Frank,

Joe had this same idea and I keep collecting info for a possible small ROV in the future.  My main concern is entanglement, either in the sub or tying the sub to some object (anchor).

Carsten/Jay. Agreed. God rest their souls. The men who have gone before us sometimes made great sacrifices, and we should all be thankful.

On the pictures idea....I wonder if it would be worth it to build a small ROV that could be launched from a sub to do recon. It wouldn't need to be too complicated ( expensive ) and could be very useful. A camera comes to mind first, or maybe an antenna with a locator so if you got stuck you could send it up to get help.
